Please use the following guide to help you in your decision making process of what laptop to purchase for your broadcast setup

Must be a Windows PC/Laptop (Mac OS is not supported by NFHS Producer) that meets the following requirements:

Standard definition (SD) broadcasts: 

• Video camera
• Video Capture Device
  • PlayOn! Producer supports a variety of capture cards to live stream your event!
    • For a comprehensive list of what capture devices are supported/recommended please use THIS guide.

• • A PC laptop meets our minimum hardware specifications:
    • Windows 10 or 11 (Mac not supported)
    • i7 Processer @ 2.8 GHz (6th gen Or newer)
      •  Producer prefers faster cores over the total number of cores.
        • EX: 4 cores at 3 GHz is preferred over 8 cores at 2 GHz
    • Minimum 8 GB of RAM
    • 1TB SSD (500GB accepted)
    • USB 3.0 port is a bonus, but not required

• NFHS Producer OR any third-party streaming software/hardware currently supporting a custom RTMP connection.

• Hardline Internet connection with at least 5 Mbps upload speed (please click here to view our Establishing a Stable Internet Connection for more details)
