In an effort to reduce impact on our cloud storage and improve its performance, an automated service has been implemented to archive events after a set period of time. When an event is archived, it is unlisted publicly and is no longer available for On Demand viewing. An mp4 copy of most events does remain, but it must be downloaded using the "Get VOD File" button to view. The screenshots at the bottom of this article show examples of archived events. When you click on an archived event, it will no longer open the Event Details page and will instead take you straight to the VOD Details. Notice the Last Updater name - that is a sure sign it has been auto archived. 

Different level events have different time periods before being archived. Here is a breakdown:

• Playoff Events - Playoff events will remain unaffected for two years after the Event Start Date. After that time, the On Demand video will be removed and the archived mp4 can be requested.
  • • Highlights made from Playoff Events will remain available for 365 days after the Event Start Date
• Varsity Events - Varsity events will be viewable On Demand for 365 days after the Event Start Date. After that time, the On Demand video will be removed and the archived mp4 can be requested.
  • • Highlights made from Varsity Events will remain available for 365 days after the Event Start Date
• Other Levels and Non-Competition Events - Non-competition events and competitions lower than Varsity level will be viewable On Demand for 120 days after the Event Start Date. After that time, the On Demand video will be removed and the archived mp4 can be requested.
  • • Highlights made from these events will remain available for 120 days after the Event Start Date
• *Practice/Scrimmage/Test Events - These events will retain On Demand viewing for 14 days after the Event Start Date. After that time, the On Demand video will be removed and the archived mp4 can be requested.
  • • mp4s for these events are only available for 60 days after the Event Start Date. After that time, they are deleted.
