The video editor in Console is a tool you can use to clip off the beginning or end of your video file. Keep in mind it is not capable of clipping out the middle of a broadcast.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1) Go to console.nfhsnetwork.com
2) Click on Events from the left-side menu.
3) If only one school is connected to your Console account, all your events will appear. You can use filters to narrow down a specific event or a date by clicking Advanced Search just below the search bar.
After you click Advanced Search, it takes you here. This is where you can adjust the filters.
4) Once you find the event, click on the event ID to open the event details page.
1. Is the column that holds the Event IDs.
2. Is the event ID that you would click.
5) Scroll down and click the thumbnail image under Video on Demand (VOD).
6) Click on Edit Video.
7) Click on the play button to get started.
8) To make edits, simply use the slider or the seek tool to navigate to the exact location where you want to make the changes. Remember, you can only edit out the beginning and the end of the VOD, so you can only make two total edits.
9) When you decide where you want to make an edit, press Add Edit.
This is what it will look like after you've made both edits.
10) After you've put in both edits, press Update Video.
11) A window will pop up asking if you want the newly edited VOD to be sent to your email once it is uploaded. This is optional.
It may take several hours or days for the new VOD to be uploaded, depending on how large the file is and how fast your school's internet speed is.
