  • If the weatherproof locking connectors don't disconnect like shown in the video, then the connector’s lock tab on the CAT6 cable mustn't have been removed during the initial installation.

    • • On the top of the locking connector, there is a small slot where you can slide in a very small flathead screwdriver (or similar object). You will have to finagle it, so that you push down on the Ethernet connector’s lock tab to release it from the camera port.

      • It’s not easy to do! Also, when an installer goes to replace them, they should break off the connector’s lock tab before continuing.
