How to Unlist or Blackout Events

  • Updated

If you would like to record practices of any kind, or would like to record anything that you do not want your viewers to see, you can unlist or blackout events of your choosing by following the steps below.

How to Unlist Events

Unlisting your event from the NFHS Network will hide your stream and VOD (Video on Demand) from viewers. Only viewers with the direct URL to that event will be able to access it.

  1. Log in to your Console account on your desktop computer via console.nfhsnetwork.com with your account credentials.
  2. Navigate to the left panel menu and click Events. It will open up to a web page that includes all of your schools events, past and present.
  3. Choose the event you would like to unlist by clicking either the Event ID or the Title of your scheduled event.

  4. Once you choose the event you would like to unlist, it will open a page showing you the details of your chosen event. Navigate to the top of the page and click Edit Event.
  5. Once you are on the Edit Event page, scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the Make VOD Unlisted and Make Live Stream Unlisted checkboxes. Click on the boxes to select whether you would like your VOD unlisted, your live stream unlisted, or both.
  6. After you have checked your preferred boxes, click the Update Event button at the bottom of the page.
