Clearing your cache and cookies helps your device run optimally. As such, if you are experiencing technical difficulties, such as login issues with Console or difficulties adding watermarks to your broadcast, we recommend clearing your cache as a first step.
Below we have listed step-by-step instructions to clearing your cache and cookies. We have also linked the support pages for each browser you may be using for additional support.
- On your desktop computer, open Chrome.
- Select the ‘Tools’ menu located at the top right of the web page - the three stacked dots.
- Navigate to the bottom of the tabs list and select ‘Settings.’
- Navigate to the left of the web page and select the ‘Privacy and security’ tab.
- Select the ‘Clear browsing data’ tab located in the middle of the page under the ‘Privacy and security’ group.
- A new window labeled ‘Clear browsing data’ will open. Change the time range to ‘All time.’
- Make sure the checkboxes next to ‘Cookies and other site data’ and ‘Cached images and files,’ are checked.
- Select ‘Clear data.’
- Restart Google Chrome by closing out the web page.
- On your desktop computer, open Microsoft Edge.
- Select the 'Settings and more' menu located at the top right of the web page - the three dots.
- Navigate to the bottom of the list and select 'Settings.'
- In the 'Settings' group located on the left of your screen, select the 'Privacy, search, and services' tab.
- Scroll down to the section labeled 'Clear browsing data.'
- Select 'Choose what to clear.'
- A new window labeled ‘Clear browsing data’ will open. Change the time range to ‘All time.’
- Make sure the checkboxes next to ‘Cookies and other site data’ and ‘Cached images and files,’ are checked.
- Select 'Clear now.'
- Restart Microsoft Edge by closing out of the web page.
- On your Mac, open the Safari app.
- Select the 'Safari' option from the tab located at the top right of your screen.
- Select 'Settings.'
- In the 'Settings' menu, select 'Privacy.'
- Select 'Manage Website Data.'
- Select the 'Remove All' button located at the bottom of the 'Privacy' menu.
- Select 'Remove Now.'
- Select 'Done.'
- Restart Safari by closing out of the web page.
- On your desktop computer, open Firefox.
- Click the three parallel lines located in the top right corner of the web page.
- Select 'Settings.'
- Select the 'Privacy & Security' tab located in the panel on the left of your screen.
- Scroll to find the section labeled 'Cookies and Site Data.'
- Select the 'Clear Data...' button.
- Make sure the checkboxes next to 'Cookies and Site Data' and 'Cached Web Content' are checked.
